The St. Marys Welcome Center, in the national historic district, is excited to share where to stay, play, eat & shop. Stop in and pick up a map and free tour brochures. Check out our locally owned restaurants and shops and enjoy nature, history, and the ferry to Cumberland Island. You can try locally sourced seafood and vegetables at several restaurants. Visit Brackish Brewery, our counties first local brewery, or our Saturday community market that offers honey and honey products, baked goods, vegetables, and handmade crafts.
Biking trails are flat and easy from the St. Marys Waterfront to Crooked River State Park and beyond. Kayaking in Camden County is accessible on the St. Marys River, Crooked River, and the Satilla. St. Marys and Cumberland Island are on the Colonial Coast Birdwathing Trail and St. Marys is the southern most point on the Binational Heritage Peace Garden Trail.
St. Marys is easily accessible from I-95, Exit 1 or from Highway 17, by taking Ga Hwy 40 from Kingsland to St. Marys.
