Tanglewood Farm is nestled in the rolling hills of Cherokee County at the foot of the North Georgia Mountains with over 150 Rare, Heritage and Miniature Breed Therapy Farm Animals! For the past 25 years, we have shared our Tanglewood Foundation(501c3) was established to encourage the preservation and promotion of Rare, Heritage and Miniature Breed Domestic Animals as well as the Native and Agricultural Heritage connected to them through Education, Advocacy, and Conservation.;
At Tanglewood, we are working to preserve and ensure genetic diversity in our bloodlines to secure their continued existence. We strive to harmonize and make a difference through respectful land stewardship and animal husbandry. By preserving our land, our animals, and our cultural heritage, we have created an economically and ecologically responsible pastoral model. All of our animals are pasture-raised on Fescue, Bermuda and Alfalfa grass or hay. Their all natural diet is supplemented with natural grains free of antibiotics, hormones and animal by-products. We strive to set the industry standards in small-scale sustainable farming.
BECAUSE WE ARE A PRIVATE WORKING FARM AND BREEDING FACILITY, TOURS TO SEE OUR ANIMALS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
