Georgia Grown Grilled Cheese Sandwich
Georgia Grown Grilled Cheese Sandwich is great any day but April 12th is a must! National Grilled Cheese Day!
- 2 slicesCountry White Bread
- 2 ouncesDecimal Place or Silly Goad Chevre (soft goat cheese)
- 1/4Apple Cored, Sliced thin, Skin on
- 1 TablespoonUnicoi Preserves Georgia Apple Cider Pepper Spread (or your favorite jam or jelly)
- 1 TablespoonSoft butter
Spread goat cheese evenly on 1 slice bread. Arrange apple slices in one layer on top of cheese. Spread jelly on other slice of bread, then place jelly side down on top of apples. Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Spread one side of bread with half of butter, place butter side down in skillet. Spread remaining butter on top of bread. Turn sandwich when bottom is golden., 2 – 3 minutes. Brown other side, serve immediately.
